In 2000, she started her acting career with the television series The Zack Files, in which she played the role of Alice. From 2003 to 2005, she played the role of Audrey Quinlan in the Canadian teen comedy, and drama television series Radio Free Roscoe. From 2008 to 2009, she played the lead role of Sage Baker in the American comedy, and drama Privileged.
In the movie Love Under the Stars, she played the role of Becca Miller, a 30-something woman who finally grows up and takes on the real world with help from a young girl and a widower. In the movie Small Town Christmas, she played the role of Nell, a high-flying female novelist from New York who takes a trip to the small town that inspired her latest bestseller.
