Sherri Michelle Saum who is better known as Sherri Saum is an American actress. She is well-known for her co-lead role in the Freeform drama series The Fosters starting from the year of 2013 till the year 2018 as Lena Adams Foster and also in the subsequent guest role of the same’s spin-off named Good Trouble from the year of 2019 to the present.

She is also famous for her TV roles in Beggars and Choosers, Rescue Me and In Treatment, and Lock & Key, and also for her roles in the daytime soap operas Sunset Beach and One Life to Life.

Sherri Saum was born on 1st October 1974 and was born in Dayton, Ohio, USA. Sherri’s father is an African-American and her mother is Lois who is a Caucasian who is of German descent. She met her ex-boyfriend who is Timothy Adams when both of them were working on the same TV show called Sunset Beach in the year of 1997. She travels around the world visiting U.S. Troops with the USO. As for schooling, she went to the Oakview Elementary School in Kettering Ohio.

As for high school, she went to Kettering Fairmont High School. She loved New York; she always divided her time between NYC and Los Angeles. On one occasion her ex-boyfriend Timothy and herself were in Aaron Spelling’s office sitting together she found out that she and he live only ten blocks away from each other in New York and also, they have the same friends who worked as models and that too for the same clients. Though they’ve never bumped into each other. She was involved in a drama club and was also a cheerleader while she was at school.

Sheri as an actress and also a producer is known for Sunset Beach in the year 1997 and Finding Home in the year 2003 whereas One Life to Live in the year 1968. She started to act in her career with the role of Vanessa Hart at Sunset Beach which is an NBC daytime soap opera and she was in it in the entire series from the year 1997 till 1999.

She also has received a Daytime Emmy Award nomination for Outstanding Younger Actress in a Drama Series for her part in it. drama series Beggars and Choosers (1999–2000), and guest-starred on Girlfriends, and Charmed. From August 31, 2001, to September 16, 2003, Saum had her second daytime television role in the ABC soap, One Life to Live, as Keri Reynolds.
