His upcoming Hallmark Movie is Christmas Class Reunion. The movie is about high school classmates who reconnect after 15 years at a Christmas reunion. The classmates were once dubbed as the cursed class.

At the reunion, the classmates challenge each other to remember who they were, who they are, and who they want to be. The movie is scheduled to be released in the month of December as part of the Hallmark Christmas movies.

In 2019, he also appeared in the television film My Best Friend’s Christmas in which he played the role of Grant Hines.

As a child, Novlan had a special bond with his paternal grandfather Clem Novlan. He has a younger sister and a brother. Novlan grew up on his family farm. He was also very active in sports such as hockey, basketball, and water skiing.

At the age of 18, he moved to the United States, where he worked for a construction company while taking acting classes.
