Fall is officially here! What would be better than to spend the weekend watching GAC Channel’s new release A Christmas\u2026Present.<\/p>\n
The movie A Christmas\u2026 Present is all about slowing down enough to recognize what\u2019s in front of the eyes. Usually, the hustle and bustle of the Christmas season arrives before we know it. But is this what Christmas is all about?<\/p>\n
The lead in the movie, Maggie Larson (Cameron Bure), is a type A mom, real estate agent, who is overly scheduled. Maggie, her husband Eric (Marc Blucas) and their teenage children decide to celebrate Christmas with Maggie\u2019s widowed brother Paul McCormick (Paul Fitzgerald) and his daughter.<\/p>\n
Paul’s wife died of an illness recently so he decides to take a back seat at celebrating the first Christmas without his wife. Despite Paul’s insistence that he and his daughter are fine baking cookies and sitting by the fire together, his sister and family invade their space and Maggie’s overpacked schedule conquers theirs.<\/p>\n
Maggie and Paul have different expectations for the holiday. But through a series of transformative events, she learns to embrace the reason for the season. The lesson they learnt is being present in the moment\u00a0 and instead of being worried about buying the presents, all anyone should want for Christmas is their loved ones around them. But the greatest gift of all is being present for one another.<\/p>\n
