Tenille Townes was born in Grande Prairie, Alberta, Canada on January 20, 1994. Tenille Nicole Nadkrynechny is her given name. Her citizenship is Canadian. Townes was born and reared in Grande Prairie, Alberta, with her younger brother, Carter Nadkrynechny, and attended Peace Wapiti Academy high school, where she developed an interest in music.<\/p>\n

Her passion of singing started when she was a little girl, while riding in the back seat of her parents’ automobile. Songs by U2 and Shania Twain were played as her parents drove down the road, and Tenille would sing along with the music.<\/p>\n
