Story of GAC Movie Twas the Text Before Christmas

Addie (Merritt Patterson), a chiropractor in New York City, gets a text message mistakenly from, ‘Nana.’ This mistake leads to a sweet friendship between Nana and Addie, and they start talking often. Nana invites Addie to spend Christmas in Vermont, which turns out to be just as beautiful as Nana said, but with a surprise. Nana’s son, James (Trevor Donovan), who’s a doctor and usually travels, is also home for the holidays. Over three years, James and Addie spend the holidays together, and it’s only when they’re both single that they start seeing each other differently.

Merritt Patterson is a Canadian Actress, Model, and Producer who was born on September 2, 1990, in Whistler, British Columbia, Canada. She is well-known for playing the character of Olivia in the short-lived Pretty Little Liars spinoff Ravenswood and also in The Royals which is an E! network television series in which she played Ophelia.

Hallmark Channel hired Merritt Patterson for the movie A Royal Winter in 2017. Which was her first Hallmark movie, where she played the role of Maggie and worked with an English actor Jack Donnelly.
