XXX Tentacion was born Jahseh Dwayne Onfroy in Florida on January 23, 1998. He spent his boyhood in Florida, growing up in Pompano Beach and Lauderhill. XXX Tentacion was musically oriented from infancy and was a member of the choir. However, he detested taking notes and got into fights with other kids, which led to his removal from the chorus group.
He was also said to have a strained connection with his mother, Cleopatra Bernard. When he was a teenager, his mother urged him to leave the home due to his rebellious conduct. He spent the years that followed at his grandmother’s house and a jail facility. On June 18, 2018, XXXTentacion was shot and died during a robbery attempt in Florida. He was exiting a motorsports shop when he was shot by two individuals in an SUV.

XXXTentacion spent a year in prison during his early adolescence as a result of certain actions in which he became engaged. He met rapper Ski Mask the Slump God while incarcerated. They created a group called Members Only once they were released.
His music career began in 2013 with the release of his first single News/Flock. In 2014, he released his debut song, Vice City, on his SoundCloud account. He also utilized the site to share teases or complete versions of songs that were either about to be released or were never released.
In 2015, he collaborated with rap artist Ski Mask the Slump God to create two albums, Members Only Vol. 1 and Members Only Vol. 2. He published the song Willy Wonka Was a Child Murderer in 2016. Look at Me (2016) was a success for him. The song was re-released in 2017 and made the US Billboard chart hit list. He uploaded three tracks on SoundCloud in April 2017.
In May 2017, he released Revenge, his first album, which included eight previously released mixtape songs. Bad Vibes Forever, XXXTentacion’s last studio album, was released posthumously in 2019. Members Only, Vol. 4 was also published that year.
XXX Tentacion was engaged in a number of legal matters. During his early adolescence, he used to get into conflicts with individuals he considered a danger to his mother, and he became engaged in several lawsuits as a result. He was engaged in various unlawful actions, including the possession of firearms, theft, armed robbery, and oxycodone possession, for which he served a year in prison.
In 2016, he was arrested three times, the first time for robbery and aggravated violence with a dangerous weapon. Later that year, he was arrested for aggravated violence on a pregnant victim for the second time. XXX Tentacion was arrested for the third time for breaking his pre-trial arrangement. He was freed in April of 2017.
On June 18, 2018, XXXTentacion was killed in an alleged robbery in Broward County, Florida. He was shot and murdered by two males as he was leaving a motorsports shop at 4 p.m., according to authorities.
