Early life, Family and Relationship

Kate Beckinsale the British actress was born in the Chiswick district of London and she was the only child of Judy Loe and Richard Beckinsale. She also had an older half-sister who was her paternal half-sister Samantha Beckinsale.

Kate’s father had Burmese descent and her parents never got married and they did before her schooling in the nursery. Both of them were actors too. She was just four years old when she was in the episode of This Is Your Life dedicated to her father. Kate Beckinsale was five years old when her father died of a heart attack and was 31 years old during his death.

She was deeply traumatised when her father passed away. Her mother had moved on with Roy Battersby, a director and it was when she was just a nine-year-old kid. She grew up with her step-father’s four sons and a daughter. She was pretty close with her step-dad and who was also a member of the Workers Revolutionary Party when she was young. Beckinsale also helped to sell a Trotskyist newspaper named The News Line when she was a little child.
