Liam McIntyre Early Life

On February 8, 1982, Liam James McIntyre was born in Adelaide, Australia. He was just two years old when his parents separated. He afterwards relocated to Melbourne with his mother, where he was nurtured by his mother and maternal grandmother.

McIntyre was influenced by his grandmother when he first became interested in art. Then, as an exchange student, he relocated to Ireland to pursue a business degree. He began his acting career by performing in short films after arriving in Australia.

In the 2007 short film “Shotgun! [An Opening Sequence],” directed by Alistair Marks, Liam McIntyre made his acting debut as Antonio. He was offered the part of Nigel in Luke Richardson’s written and directed short film “Fancy” that same year.

Liam made his debut in a feature film in 2009 when he was chosen to portray Lance Corporal Christopher Bragi in the horror movie “Niflheim: Blood & Bullets,” which was directed by Nathaniel Iwaszko. He also portrayed Harry, the main character, in the 2009 comedy short “Anniversary,” which was directed by Cassie Dart.
