Jodie Comer is an English actress who is 32 years of age as of the year 2025. She was born in  Liverpool, Merseyside, England, UK. She was born on 11th March 1993. Jodie Marie Comer is the birth name of Jodie Comer.

She is well-known for acting in the British drama spy thriller as Oksana Astankova / Villanelle which was Killing Eve from the year 2018. She has also received awards which include the British Academy Television Award for Best Actress and the Primetime Emmy Award for Outstanding Lead Actress in a Drama Series.

Jodie as also acted in roles like Chloe Gemell in My Mad Fat Diary between the years 2013–2015 which is an E4 comedy-drama series, in Doctor Foster in between the years 2015–2017 which is a BBC One drama series with the role of Kate Parks, Thirteen in the year 2016 a BBC Three drama miniseries as Ivy Moxam, in The White Princess in the year 2017 as Elizabeth of York which is a Starz historical miniseries, Help in the year 2021 as Sarah in the Channel 4 television film.

Early life, Family and Relationship

Jodie was born in Liverpool and was raised in the city’s Childwall suburb. She also had a brother who is two years younger than her. She has done her schooling in the St Julie’s Catholic High School which was in the suburb of Woolton.

Jodie has been friends with Katarina Johnson-Thompson, the future Olympic athlete in the school. She began acting in CALS, a local weekend drama school in Belle Vale. She was just eleven years old when she was there.

Actress Jodie also was in an everyday Saturday practice on singing, dancing and acting. She got into the Liverpool Performing Arts Festival via her drama school at  St George’s Hall, Liverpool in the year 2006.

She was once expelled from a dance group by her friends and it was in a secondary school because she was unable to attend the rehearsals for a talent show at school and later she moved on and perform a monologue for the show which brought her to the eyes of the drama teacher at St.Julie’s and she sent her to audition for a  BBC Radio 4 play which was kind of become her first job. On seeing her talent and skills her co-stars had encouraged her to make a career out of acting and asked her to get an agent.
