Early life, Family and Relationship
Jodie was born in Liverpool and was raised in the city’s Childwall suburb. She also had a brother who is two years younger than her. She has done her schooling in the St Julie’s Catholic High School which was in the suburb of Woolton. Jodie has been friends with Katarina Johnson-Thompson, the future Olympic athlete in the school. She began acting in CALS, a local weekend drama school in Belle Vale. She was just eleven years old when she was there.
Actress Jodie also was in an everyday Saturday practice on singing, dancing and acting. She got into the Liverpool Performing Arts Festival via her drama school at St George’s Hall, Liverpool in the year 2006. She was once expelled from a dance group by her friends and it was in a secondary school because she was unable to attend the rehearsals for a talent show at school and later she moved on and perform a monologue for the show which brought her to the eyes of the drama teacher at St.Julie’s and she sent her to audition for a BBC Radio 4 play which was kind of become her first job. On seeing her talent and skills her co-stars had encouraged her to make a career out of acting and asked her to get an agent.
