Story of the Hallmark Movie Christmas At The Golden Dragon
The story is about two siblings Romy Chen (Kara Wang) and Rick Chen (Osric Chau) who learn that their parents have planned to close their beloved Midwestern Chinese restaurant right before Christmas. Romy and Rick’s parents have owned the restaurant and operated for decades.
The restaurant is well-known to provide jobs for many people especially during the holidays. When the news about the restaurant closure breaks, it impacts the loyal patrons and staff who depend on the restaurant over the holidays. The news prompts their clientele to re-evaluate their relationships in a series of interconnected stories amidst the chaos of the busiest week of the year.

1 Kara Wang as Romy Chen
Kara Wang is a Chinese-American actress. She is well-known for her role as Alice in the American television series Jane the Virgin and as Lt. Callie ‘Halo’ Bassett in Top Gun: Maverick.
In 2022, she starred in the Hallmark movie Christmas at the Golden Dragon. The movie was directed by David I. Strasser and written by Melynda Bissmeyer and Emily Ting. The movie is about a Midwestern Chinese restaurant announcing that it’s closing right before Christmas. The announcement prompts their clientele to re-examine their relationships in a series of interconnected stories during the busiest week of the year. Osric Chau is a Canadian actor, who is well-known for his role in the CW series Supernatural as Kevin Tran, as Vogel in Dirk Gently’s Holistic Detective Agency which is a BBC America series, and in the Arrowverse as Ryan Choi in the TV shows set. He always wanted to be a stuntman though has become an actor.
He went to classes when he was a young one but he didn’t really get good with them. Osric wanted to be a prodigy he states yet he was terrible. He had a good and strong quality in public speaking. Antonio Cupo is a Canadian actor who was born on 10th January 1978 in Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada. He has acted both in movies and television series. He spent his early years as a stage performer.
