Story of Hallmark Movie Heaven Down Here

Based on Mickey Guyton’s song, “Heaven Down Here” is a story about four different people stuck in a local diner on Christmas Eve due to a snowstorm. Imami, a widowed mom of two, is working the Christmas Eve shift to make ends meet.

She clashes with her boss, Dan, who isn’t very Christmassy. Felix, a local pastor, is trying to get food for his parishioners while dealing with his son’s issues.

Clara, a hospice nurse, has a difficult patient and her daughter is moving away, making her question her purpose. Throughout the night, these four argue, connect, and unintentionally help each other find the answers to their prayers.

1 Krystal Joy Brown as Imani

Krystal Joy Brown is an American actress. She is known for her roles in television series and Broadway theatre. In 2020, Brown appeared in the Hallmark movie One Royal Holiday. She played the role of Sarah Melnick, the youngest Mayor in her town.

In 2021, she was cast in another Hallmark movie Writing Around the Christmas Tree. She played the role of Mikaela Leighton, a successful novelist. Her late mother was a famous author.

Mikaela decides to revive her deceased mother’s annual holiday writer’s retreat at her father’s snowy chalet. During her time at the chalet to cure her writer’s block, she meets a handsome Levi McGuire, a non-fiction writer.
