Katherine began her acting career when she was residing in Kansas City. She made her acting debut in the 2008 short film Get Off My Porch alongside Matchmaker Mary. She was cast in A Little Night Music in 2010.

In television shows including Law & Order: SVU, 30 Rock, and Drop Dead Diva, she has made guest appearances as an actor. She appeared in many theatrical films, including Girl vs. Monster and New Year’s Eve.
