American rapper Kevin Pouya, better known by his stage name Pouya, was born on December 20, 1994, in Miami Florida. His mother is from Cuba, while his father is from Iran.

Together with his closest friend and business partner Fat Nick, Kevin Pouya began his career by posting YouTube sketches. The two quickly transitioned to music and started a web series called “The Nick and Pouya show.” As a member of the “Buffet Boys,” a YouTube-famous act, they enjoyed further popularity.

After some time, Pouya joined the Miami collective Smart Stunnas, which also included musicians like IndigoChildRick, Robb Banks, Kie Money, and Sir Michael Rocks.
