Quvenzhané Wallis at the age of 5, Wallis went to her first acting audition; however, her parents lied about her age to get her the part since the required minimum age was 6 years. Out of 4000 applicants, she was chosen to play “Hushpuppy” in the movie “Beasts of the Southern Wild.”
