At the University of Calcutta, she completed her college degree. From Barisal in Bangladesh Sayantani’s family originally hails. Sayantani lost her father just in her fifth grade, while she growing up in Kolkata.

When she was five she began learning dance. Form of the Thankamani Kutty Gharana, she is well trained in the Classical Dance and After that, she started her dance troupe called Aadrika.
