Desiree Ross is an American actress who was born in Columbia, South Carolina, U.S. She is well-known for her works which include her starring as Sophia Greenleaf in Greenleaf in the Oprah Winfrey Network drama series. Desiree is an actress who has been in both acting and philanthropy for nearly five years.

She has taken a lot of effort into philanthropy which includes her working with Saving Our Cinderellas for the past two years and she has also worked in Atlanta and Cleveland, Ohio. She has also been a mentor at the Chicago Art School.

Desiree most times gives motivational speeches to kids in Georgia’s foster system and also has been working with kids in Nicaragua as she frequently visited schools and has been serving middle and high school girls at a Christian youth camp as a youth Councillor.

Along with all these, she has also fostered dogs for the SQ Rescue. She is in lots of charity walks and has worked in food pantries.

Desirée Ross the American actress was born in Columbia, South Carolina. She is the eldest child in her family and she started acting in short films before she was in the cast as a lead actress in the movie A Country Christmas Story along with  Dolly Parton, Mary Kay Place, and Megyn Price on Lifetime television.

The very next year she had a recurring role in the TNT post-apocalyptic drama series Falling Skies as Mira. Ross was also in the cast in a series regular role in the Oprah Winfrey Network drama series, Greenleaf in the year 2015. She has acted as Sophia Greenleaf, the daughter of series lead Grace Greenleaf aka Gigi who was played by Merle Dandridge, this series also has Lynn Whitfield, Keith David, and Oprah Winfrey starring in it.

Desirée Ross had her first Hollywood breakthrough by her starring in A Country Christmas Story a Lifetime project in which she was acting along with Dolly Parton and she has also dung several soundtracks for the movie.
