China Anne McClain is an American actress and also a singer. China Anne was born on 25th Aug 1998 in Decatur, Georgia, USA.

She started her career when she was just a seven-year-old and she was in the film The Gospel as Alexis in the year 2005.

She also has got recognition in the television series Tyler Perry’s House of Payne as Jazmine Payne between the years 2007–2012 and 2020 to present. In the film Grown Ups of the year, 2010 worked as Charlotte McKenzie.

She later became the world-widely recognized Chyna Parks as she was in the television series A.N.T. Farm between the years 2011–2014 which was a Disney Channel television series.

She was also acting as Uma in the Disney Channel films Descendants 2 in the year 2017 and Descendants 3 in the year 2019. China was in The CW superhero series Black Lightning between the years 2018 till 2021 as Jennifer Pierce aka Lightning. She has also acted as Jazmine Payne in The Paynes in the year 2018 which is an OWN’s revival.

China Anne McClain the American actress is the daughter of a music producer whose name is Michael McClain who produced the debut album Solo Star in the year 2002 which was done by Solange Knowles.

Her mother is a songwriter, and former screenwriter, and her name is Shontell McClain. She has two older sisters Sierra and Lauryn who are also actresses and singers. She also has a younger brother who is Gabriel McClain.

China Anne McClain got her career when she was discovered by a music executive seeing the way she sings and referred her to director Rob Hardy. She got the part in the audition and got selected for her feature film The Gospel in the year 2005.

China Ann also auditioned for the movie Jump In! which was a Disney Channel Original Movie in the year 2007 and also won a role yet turned out to star in Tyler Perry’s House of Payne from the year 2007 as  Jazmine Payne as she got Tyler Perry’s attention.
