Colin Jost was born on June 29, 1982 in Staten Island, New York City, New York, USA. He was raised in Grymes Hill in New York City. His mother Kerry Kelly was in the New York City Fire Department as the chief medical officer whereas his father Daniel A. Jost was a former teacher in the Staten Island Technical High School.

He is the eldest of two brothers.  His brother Casey Jost is a writer and a producer. He is known for his works like Impractical Jokers and also had a part in Staten Island Summer. He is a Roman Catholic.

Education

He attended his high school at Manhattan named Regis High School. In high school, he was the school newspaper Owl’s editor.

As for college he went to Havard and graduated with History and literature as a major where he had Russian literature as a focus along with British literature. His senior year focus was on Vladimir Nabokov.

He got graduated cum laude from Havard in the year of 2004. When he was there he acted as the president of the Harvard Lampoon.

He also did a college edition of Weakest Link for which he won $5250 and said humbly he didn’t deserve to win. In October 2020, he got married to Scarlett Johansson and was blessed with a child.

In May 2017, Colin Jost began dating the stunning and widely admired actress Scarlett Johansson, whom he first met during one of her memorable appearances as host on Saturday Night Live. Their romance quickly blossomed, leading to a beautiful engagement in May 2019.

A year later, in October 2020, the couple exchanged vows in an intimate ceremony at their New York home. Their love story grew even sweeter in August 2021, when they welcomed their son into the world.
