Story of the Movie I’m Glad It’s Christmas

Holly Bose (Jessica Lowndes) is a full-time sales clerk and part-time chorus girl. Her dream is to become a Broadway star. She counts the number of auditions left before giving up on her dream.

She has several run-ins with jingle writer Jason Murphy (Paul Greene) on multiple occasions. Jason is a single father and also Santa during Christmas. Whenever Holly and Jason meet, there is a spark. But it is complicated because Holly has her eye on the biggest stage and Jason is very protective about bringing new relationships into his young daughter’s life.

Jason and Holly start their relationship, but Jason makes Holly feel like she’s auditioning for another role. That is when Cora Ross (Gladys Knight), a wealthy real estate landlord enters their lives. Cora sees the spark between Jason and Holly. She has her heart set on bringing Holly and Jason together in the town’s annual Holiday Lane Christmas Concert.

Cora sees Holly as an aspiring lead and she asks Jason to write a new Christmas classic. Will the two along with Cora give the town a holiday concert they’ve never seen? Will Holly’s professional success come at the cost of her chance at love?
