Nicole was hired as a multimedia journalist and she started her journalism by becoming as a reporter for starters in her career and also an anchor. She is a very notable one for a story she did cover about a gay couple who was ill-treated and was kicked out of a country-western bar. This story was featured in the CNN and also was awarded with the Excellence in Local Television Award by the NLGJA.
