Early life, Family, and Relationship
Isaac Mizrahi was born on October 14, 1961 and was born in Brooklyn, New York, USA. He is the son of Sarah Mizrahi who was in the documentary about Issac which was entitled Unzipped in the year 1995 and also he is a friend of Natalie Portman since she was fourteen.
His father Zeke Mizrah was a children’s clothing manufacturer and he is of Egyptian-Jewish and also Syrian-Jewish descent. His maternal grandparents were Jews from Aleppo in Syria. He grew up as the youngest one in his family in Midwood.
He got a sewing machine from his father at the age of ten and when he was fifteen he had his own label, IS New York with the help of a family friend.

As for his schooling, he went to Yeshivah of Flatbush, Fiorello H. LaGuardia High School of Music & Art and Performing Arts, and also the Parsons School of Design.
As for his education, he has been in the High School of Performing Arts with acting as his major and he studied fashion at Parsons School of Design.

Isaac Mizrahi has directed productions of The Magic Flute for the Opera Theater of St. Louis and A Little Night Music. He directs and narrates his production of Peter and The Wolf a children’s classic which is actually a children’s classic at the Guggenheim Museum in New York. Isaac has been performing cabaret at Café Carlyle, West Bank Café, and Winery locations across the country. He has his own production company.
