Her father was in the military and she was raised on a military base in the Mojave Desert, California. She has had a passion for TV journalism since the early period of time when she was in elementary school and after completing her studies she got her dream of becoming a TV reporter and anchor in Harrisburg.
She graduated in English writing and communications from the University of Pittsburgh in the year 1995.

Jane Treacy is too much with her constantly talking, cutting others off in the middle of conversing, constantly looking at herself in the monitor, continually tugging on her shirts/sweaters. She’s too old to be co-hosting with the younger hosts.
