Acting Career

Kelley got his big break in television with the ABC series Lost from 2004 to 2009. He played the role of Walt Lloyd, son of Michael Dawson. In 2006, he won the Young Artist Award for his performance as Walt Lloyd in Lost. After his performance in Lost, he has appeared in many television series. He played the lead role of Finn Katins in the TeenNick program Gigantic in 2010. However, the show was canceled after one season.

Kelley’s other television performances include For Your Love, Malcolm in the Middle, Girlfriends, Judging Amy, Eve, Law & Order: Special Victims Unit, My Name Is Earl, Saving Grace, The Closer, The Thundermans, Bones, and Blindspot. His recent performance in television was in the series Insecure as Jerome Carter from 2017 to 2021.

Kelley also appeared in films. As a child artist, he appeared in the movie Antwone Fisher in 2002. His other movies are You Got Served, The Kings of Appletown, Surviving Brotherhood, Mississippi Damned, Detroit, and True to the Game. Kelley also appeared in television films like Knights of the South Bronx as Jimmy Washington, and Shredd as Young Nate.

Kelley formed a pop duo MKTO along with his former Gigantic co-star Tony Oller in 2012. MKTO was signed to Columbia Records. In 2013, Kelley recorded the song Save Your Soul along with Celine Dion. The album ‘Loved Me Back To Life’ was released in 2013. However, Kelley and Celine Dion’s duet was included only on the album’s vinyl version.
