Story of the Hallmark Movie A Maple Valley Christmas

Erica Holden (Peyton List) is a rancher who has spent her entire life at her family’s ranch – Holden Ranch – with her mother Ina (Frances Flanagan) and her sister Heidi (Ella Cannon). She has huge plans for her ranch.

Erica learns that her neighbors are planning to sell back the land they bought from her family many years ago. She decides to buy back the land to make her family’s ranch whole for the first time in decades. But her plans go for a toss when Steve Davenport (Paul Jarrett), a cutthroat real estate developer, wants the ranch and sends his son Aaron (Andrew Walker) to seal the deal.

To make things worse, Erica’s mother announces that she is moving out of the country to be with her Italian boyfriend. Her sister Heidi also backs off saying that she doesn’t want the land back. When things get complicated, Erica starts to question what it is that she actually wants!
